Terms of Use

The terms on which this website is provided. These cover the website itself — anything about your own treatment or your visit to the clinic is dealt with in person, not here.

In short: This website is published by Vedaant Orthopaedic Center as general health information. Using it does not create a doctor–patient relationship, and nothing on it is a diagnosis or a treatment plan for your own condition. Anything concerning your care, your appointment or your treatment is handled by speaking to the clinic directly on +91 6355 991 466.

1. Who publishes this site

devpadia.com is published by Vedaant Orthopaedic Center, the orthopaedic practice of Dr Dev Padia, at UG/9B Galloping Corridor, GD Goenka School Road (Canal Road – VIP Road), Surat, Gujarat 395007, India. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “the clinic” mean that practice, and “you” means anyone using the site.

By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

2. What this website is

This site sets out what the clinic treats, what particular procedures involve, and what recovery from them realistically looks like. It is written for people trying to understand a knee, hip or shoulder problem before they decide what to do about it.

It is general information. It is not:

  • A diagnosis of your condition.
  • A treatment plan, or a recommendation that any particular procedure is right for you.
  • A substitute for examining you, reviewing your imaging and taking your history.
  • A guarantee of any outcome.

3. No doctor–patient relationship

Reading this website, submitting the enquiry form or sending a message does not make you a patient of the clinic and does not create a doctor–patient relationship. That relationship begins when you are seen in consultation and accepted for care.

Until then, please do not rely on anything here in place of proper medical advice, and do not delay seeing a doctor because of something you have read on this site.

4. Emergencies

Do not use this website, the enquiry form, email or WhatsApp for anything urgent. Messages are not monitored continuously and may not be seen for some hours.

If you have a suspected fracture, a joint that has dislocated, severe or sudden loss of function, a wound that will not stop bleeding, or any other emergency, go to the nearest hospital emergency department immediately.

5. Appointments, treatment and anything about your own care

Appointments are arranged by telephone on +91 6355 991 466. This website does not book, confirm or hold appointments, and submitting the enquiry form does not secure a slot until the clinic has confirmed it with you.

Any question about your consultation, your procedure, your recovery, scheduling, or the arrangements around your treatment should be raised with the clinic directly, in person or by phone. Those matters depend entirely on your own circumstances and are settled in conversation with Dr Padia and the clinic team — not through this website, and not by anything written on this page.

6. Content, copyright and use

The text, page structure, photographs, illustrations and design on this site belong to Vedaant Orthopaedic Center or are used with permission. You are welcome to read it, print it for your own use, and share links to it.

You may not republish substantial portions of the content as your own, present it as another practice’s material, or use it commercially without written permission. If you would like to quote or reference something here, please attribute it and link to the page.

7. Acceptable use

Please do not use this site to attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, to introduce malicious code, to scrape it in a way that degrades service for others, to submit false or misleading information through the enquiry form, or to send anything unlawful, abusive or defamatory.

8. Reviews, testimonials and results

The written reviews on this site are reproduced from the clinic’s Google Business Profile without editing. The video testimonials were recorded and shared voluntarily by patients. Both describe individual experiences.

Another person’s recovery does not predict yours. Outcomes after orthopaedic surgery depend on your age, general health, the condition of the joint before treatment, the specific procedure performed and how rehabilitation goes. Nothing on this site should be read as a promise of a similar result.

9. Links to other websites

This site links to external resources — medical references, the clinic’s Google listing, and social profiles. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or their privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the destination site.

10. Availability

We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Content may be updated or removed at any time as clinical practice changes. Pages carry a review date so you can see how current they are.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website — including any decision taken on the basis of information here rather than on the basis of a consultation. This does not limit any liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law, and nothing in these terms affects your rights as a patient.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute relating to this website is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Surat, Gujarat.

13. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version is always the one on this page, with its “last updated” date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

14. Contact

Questions about these terms, or about anything on this website, can be directed to the clinic:

Frequently asked questions

Does using this site make me a patient of the clinic?

No. Reading the site or sending an enquiry does not create a doctor–patient relationship. That begins when you are seen in consultation.

Can I ask about my own knee or hip through the website?

You can ask a general question, but you will be asked to come in. A specific problem cannot responsibly be assessed without examining you and reviewing your imaging. Call +91 6355 991 466 to arrange that.

What should I do in an emergency?

Go to the nearest hospital emergency department. Do not use the website, email or WhatsApp for anything urgent — those are not monitored continuously.

Can I reproduce content from this site?

You may read, print and link to it freely. Republishing substantial portions or using it commercially needs written permission. Please get in touch if you would like to.

Who do I speak to about my treatment or appointment?

The clinic directly, on +91 6355 991 466. Anything specific to your care is discussed with Dr Padia and the clinic team rather than settled through this website.
