Why this page exists
Health information online is frequently written by people with something to sell, and it is not always obvious who or what. This page states plainly where the content comes from and what commercial interests sit behind it, so you can weigh what you read accordingly.
Who writes and reviews the content
Clinical content on this site is written and reviewed by Dr Dev Padia, MS Ortho (USA), orthopaedic and joint replacement surgeon at Vedaant Orthopaedic Center, with fellowship training at University Hospital Zurich, Careggi University Hospital and the University of Utah.
Treatment pages and articles carry a “medically reviewed by” block with the date they were last checked. Where clinical practice changes, pages are revised and the date updated rather than left to drift.
Commercial disclosure
- No advertising. This site carries no display advertising, no sponsored posts and no paid placements.
- No affiliate links. Nothing on this site earns a commission if you click it or buy something.
- No paid rankings or listings. No company has paid to be mentioned, recommended or linked to here.
- No implant manufacturer relationship influences clinical content. Where implants, prostheses or surgical systems are described, they are described because they are relevant to the procedure, not because of any commercial arrangement. Implant selection for a given patient is a clinical decision based on the joint, the anatomy and the case — discussed with you directly at consultation.
- No referral fees. The clinic neither pays nor receives fees for patient referrals.
- The site promotes the clinic. This is the obvious one and worth stating: devpadia.com exists to describe Dr Padia’s practice, and its purpose includes attracting patients to it. Read it with that in mind, and use the information as one input among several rather than the only one.
Reviews and testimonials
- Written reviews are reproduced from the clinic’s Google Business Profile without editing. The complete list, including any critical reviews and the clinic’s replies, remains publicly visible on Google.
- Video testimonials were recorded and published voluntarily by patients on the clinic’s YouTube channel.
- No payment, discount or other incentive is offered in exchange for a review or a testimonial.
- Any patient may ask for their testimonial or photograph to be removed at any time by contacting the clinic.
- Reviews describe individual experiences. They are not a prediction of your own result, which depends on your age, general health, the state of the joint before treatment and how rehabilitation progresses.
Images
Photographs of Dr Dev Padia on this site are of him. No patient photograph, scan or clinical image is published without that patient’s explicit permission, and none is used for illustration where a generic image would do.
External links
Where this site links to outside resources — clinical references, the Google listing, social profiles — those links are editorial. They are not paid, and no commercial relationship exists with the destination. We do not control those sites or take responsibility for their content.
Measurement and analytics
Aggregated, anonymised analytics are used to see which pages people find useful. This is not used to build advertising profiles and is not shared with advertisers. The privacy policy sets out exactly what is collected and how long it is kept.
Regulatory position
Content here is written to be factual and informational, in keeping with the professional standards that apply to medical practitioners in India regarding public communication. You will not find claims of being the best, guarantees of outcome, comparative superiority over named practitioners, or success-rate claims presented as promises. Where results are described, they are described as ranges and probabilities, because that is what they are.
How this content is produced
Pages are drafted, then checked against current orthopaedic practice and reviewed by Dr Padia before publication. Where a page describes a procedure, the description reflects how that procedure is actually carried out at this clinic rather than a generic account copied from elsewhere.
Corrections
If you find something on this site that is inaccurate, out of date or unclear, please tell us. Corrections are made promptly and the review date on the page is updated. Contact devpadia@live.com or call +91 6355 991 466.
Anything about your own treatment
This page covers the website. It does not cover your care. Questions about your consultation, your procedure, the arrangements around your treatment or anything specific to your own knee, hip or shoulder are dealt with directly by the clinic — speak to Dr Padia or the clinic team on +91 6355 991 466 rather than relying on anything written here.
