What to bring to your appointment
- Previous X-rays, MRI or CT scans — the films or discs themselves, not only the reports. Old imaging is genuinely useful because it shows how the joint has changed over time.
- A list of your current medication, including anything for blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid or blood thinning.
- Previous operation notes or discharge summaries, particularly if you have had surgery on the same joint before.
- Your insurance details, if you expect to claim.
- Loose clothing. The knee and hip need to be examined properly, which means being able to expose the joint.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a referral to be seen?
No. You can call the clinic directly to arrange a consultation. If a doctor has referred you, bring the referral letter and any imaging with you.
Can I get an opinion on scans I already have?
Yes. Bring the actual films or discs rather than just the reports, along with any previous operation notes. Old imaging is often the most useful thing you bring.
Is the clinic really open on Sunday?
Yes, on Sunday mornings from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, in addition to Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.
Which number should I use in an emergency?
The emergency number is +91 7024 574 720. For routine appointments, reports and general queries, please use +91 6355 991 466 so the emergency line stays free.
Do you deal with insurance?
Most health insurance policies in India cover joint replacement and orthopaedic surgery, subject to waiting periods and policy terms. The clinic can tell you what documentation your insurer needs and whether a cashless arrangement applies.
